The left will stoop to any truth, and take advantage of anything that is even remotely factual and proven in order to smear decent, imaginative Republicans.
MSNBC has long been an admittedly “liberal” outlet for COMMENTARY, BUT, they’ve recently dropped their daytime “liberals”, and increased the time for “Morning Joe”, who’s hardly “liberal”.
Blitzer pointed out to Maher some time ago that CNN is by no means a “liberal” outlet anymore, NBC, CBS, ABC, are all owned by very conservative corporate entities. Fox doesn’t bother me so much that they’re slightly to the right of Goebbels, but that their reports are consistently WRONG, and facts are as rare as hen’s teeth, that would be passenger pigeon hens btw.
Obvious bias btw isn’t as discocerting as the subliminal “slants” so often used on “news” broadcasts, that are like those micro-messages inserted in movies or advertising to con your subconscious mind.
The most outreaching, broadest, and most accurate coverage I’ve seen of late is Al Jazeera America, with very good specials, and interviews that actually present all sides of the story. In the time our usual media spend on a single story, like a unique and isolated shooting that gets their attention, AJ will cover a dozen stories, from all around the world, in greater actual depth, and provide accurate and verifiable information.
One of my Favourite interviews of all time was the Rachel Maddow interview with Rod Blagojevich where he was so Lulled by her quiet & Respectful tone when she questioned him that he inadvertently Admitted part of his Guilt.It was so much fun to see that the Prosecutor actually used the clip at his trial..Runner up was the Rand Paul interview when he got careless and admitted that he wanted to Repeal the Civil Rights act, then began Frantically Backpedalling when she asked him to Clarify that position….
