    The more they make, the cheaper they’ll be. There is always a battery improvement right around the corner that will cut weight and double range. I hope one day they’ll be right.

    Building a “cheat programming” into some of their diesels, while not others, actually makes no sense. Can’t find any indication it improved performance all that much, at least in what’s published so far. The European versions, ARE clean, and efficient. Dumbness.

    Until penalties apply to the officers of the company, and not “the company”, the perpetrators have no incentive to behave differently. They’ll just waltz off with their golden parachutes (like Rick Scott). VW, the company, didn’t do the deed, people did.

    There is a suitable replacement called natural gas. If buses and garbage trucks can run on it I’m sure we can up size the tech to fit any need.
