Kim David drives a bus and will not admit a same-sex couple on. "If you insist on comparing Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk, to Rosa Parks there is one way the analogy might work... Davis: Oh no you don't!!
Look. The Bible says that all people should be treated with respect and compassion. It does not say that respect and compassion entail all behavior being acquiesced to. The Bible says lying, murder, adultery, greed, among other things, are not approved by God. It’s not my place to assume what God’s judgment on anyone practicing those things will be. It is my place to refrain from having anything to do with those things. But no one is required to support me in that. I do not take jobs that involve violating my conscience; I leave jobs where I cannot avoid violating my conscience; and I do not profit from the practice of these things.
It’s easy to see that argument when it comes to lying, murder, adultery and greed, isn’t it? The Bible also says homosexuality is not approved. All the same thoughts apply.
There’s all kinds of stuff prohibited in the Old Testament that Kim is just fine with. Somehow it’s only the Gays who get her animosity. Jesus said nothing about homosexuals in the New Testament, but he had a LOT to say about hypocrites.
Dixon, Davis….we all know it was the grand-standing, law-breaking, Bible-thumping county clerk.
How much “vacation” time did she burn during her all to brief stay in jail? How much vacation time has she used to “recover” from the horrors of her life in the pokey? What new horrors will she dredge from her Bible?
You are very right. I put that badly. I should have said that i would be happy to show you from the Bible why I say what I say, and allow others to draw their own conclusions. Thank you for the correction.
The name “Dixon” has been corrected to “Davis” in the left-side caption, but the mistake is still visible on the driver’s lapel pin. Even though the error was just a nonsensical “oops” (like Carter’s famous “Hornblower” gaffe), I would have enjoyed reading a response from the artist in this comments thread.

I like Stuart Carlson’s composition better (and he got the name right, too).
