little neuro in slumberland neuro: after 9/11 my dreams changed. by richard thompson neuro: i developed a new recurring nightmare. it largely supplanted my other recurring nightmares. neuro: like the one where my teeth fall out, one by one, and my head shrinks to the size of a tennis ball. neuro: or the one where the big scary dog eats my 401(k). neuro: or where i'm trapped in a thomas kinkade painting. neuro: or where i play a piano recital accidentally in the nude.

When I was his age my nightmares were about Godzilla, roller coasters of death, tornadoes, tidal waves, and runaway trains.
