it all depends. sometimes a rub is just a rub, and anybody will do. sometimes, you need just the right rub from just the right one

Maybe the cartoonists should know, cats don’t like belly rubs. Never met a cat who did and I’ve known quite a few.

Of the cats I’ve known, some liked belly rubs, some didn’t. But there definitely were those who did!
