A couple of years ago when my son started playing MMORPGs that when I told him it was bedtime he would ignore me and continue playing. One night after getting annoyed with this I walked over to the router and turned it off. He too was really upset because he thought the internet had gone down.

Close the laptop. You can use it as a defensive shield or to strike at an attackers throat, crushing their windpipe!

Last time the power went out for several days, we just hauled out the candles and carried on. (We did tend to adopt a layered look—to keep warm)
