Don’t worry, Dad. Rosalyn has it all under control.

When I had holidays last week, suddenly just in the midst of night, when we all slept well, a siren started to ring loudly, I thought, war has started now and was very startled!

I’m thinking that this was Watterson beginning to wrap things up for the retirement of the strip.

I don’t think there’s room for all the question marks needed to express Hobbes’ surprise.

Calvin has finished the math problems—he’s (im-)properly motivated—but his Math rules bear a certain close resemblance to the Calvinball rules.

An ambulance, a police car or a fire siren?

Godfather Vito, Mom & Dad would have to mortgage the house to afford her for that.

Maybe it’s just the ending to the “Low Rider” song playing over the restaurant’s speaker system; the sax solo at the end starts off sounding like a siren.
