Lowest labor participation rate in almost 40 years, record number of people dependent on welfare, 100% of employment growth goes to immigrants, etc. Yep, the Obama recovery summer. Remember that from 2009? Still waiting……
I doubt very seriously that job loss has anything to to with the either of the failed American political ideologies.https://hackpad.com/List-of-Jobs-Tasks-that-will-be-lost-to-Automation-Technological-Unemployment-ejhajuZc3cBhttp://www.technologyreview.com/featuredstory/515926/how-technology-is-destroying-jobs/
In general I agree with superposition. Many jobs are lost to global forces that can not be meaningfully altered (market isolation lasts just so long and has serious side effects). That said, some policy decisions do have a big impact ie NAFTA. Perhaps a reaction to global forces, but also not the best deal for us (sorta like Iran). However, government policies can and do have an impact on job creation, numbers of jobs and types of jobs. This administration’s policies have not been favorable for creation of well paying jobs.
Obama has had a better jobs record than ANY Republican president since 1960, even Reagan, and the recovery (while hamstrung by the idiotic Republican sequester) is doing pretty well. When will Lisa start reading the newspaper?
PRIVATE SECTOR jobs added every month, but gee, only about a quarter million monthly, as opposed to the Bush "success’ that cost some 40 million jobs. BTW: how many high paying jobs here in the U.S. are being filled by folks here on work visas, but still being paid less than the American workers they replaced? Corporate logos are stamped all over that policy and their passports.
“In 2000 the workforce was almost 154 million.Today it is almost 149 million.Good job Democrats.”To which democrats are you referring going all the way back to 2000? What happened to the economy before the inauguration in 2008?
“……In 2000 the workforce was almost 154 million.Today it is almost 149 million.Good job Democrats…….”.That’s entirely expected because of the retiring of the baby boom bulge. Because they can now retire without losing their healthcare thanks to the ACC, the rate of retirement could be expected to increase even more.
Almost 100 million Americans out of work. $19 trillion of debt. Record numbers on food stamps. You can’t just be incompetent to achieve those numbers…you have to want them.

Conservatives hate facts. Look at the flak Megan Kelly got for bringing up one against Trump!

Yeah, right! NAFTA, Wall Street, wars fought on the credit card, earned wealth funneled to the top;none of these have anything to do with it!

CEO salaries are at record heights. Can they employ more? Not likely at that salary.
