    I love the cat.

The truth is there was nothing in these elections about how the people running were going to fix our problems.

All of the GOP’s were too busy claiming that the other guy/girl WAS REALLLLLY A LIBERIAL!, and that they were the only true conservatives.

The DEMS had to spend their time talking about oil spills and tea!

The Fall Elections will be worse – our new “Citizens” the Corporations will really be able to open up their pocket books to push their programs, and none of their programs will be about creating jobs, fixing our economy, ending two wars, or the National Debt.

They want the GOP back in, the GOP never gave them any trouble, the only thing the GOP gave big business was bail outs.

CLARK - Well Said. Anger always wins over logic, truth, and compromise.

For Democracy to work you need people to be able to be logical, look at the facts and truth, and be open to compromise.

The Far Right and the GOP don’t believe in Democracy (it’s too hard, and you have to think about other people) so from now thru November America will be divided, and Democracy trampled.

America works on the family unit…..and every man’s home is his castle. If a man has no wife or children, there is no family unit to function for support. A man alone, with just his pets, is a downhill ride.

    kreole,

    I beg your pardon. That’s a ridiculous over-generalization.

Or didn’t you notice the want ads piled all through the panel?

I’m curious bill, how you consider me a spammer; I simply posted a link as a point of interest communicating one view of the true unemployment numbers in reflection of Mr. Oliphant’s caricature. What did I attempt to sell and who did I attempt to attract ????? I do apologize to everyone that the link I posted turned out to be a link to something I did not intend….. I will be more careful in the future……

The problem with Democracy, as practiced by the current Democratic tendency of the Burro party is that, like their President, mediocrity can’t see anything higher than itself.

More scat humor from the ever infantile Lord O’poopsie…

I should rub his nose in it. Oh, wait, I already have. So has everybody else. Maybe it’s brain damage from hiding the closet from such a long time.

How old are ya poop? 40?

So, at your liberal, flaccid middle-age, Griz, you’re familiar with Tolstoy, I take it?

If the November’s mid-term Congressional elections do not continue the majority in both Houses of Congress that Obama enjoys now, the right-wing agenda for Congressional legislation will supercede and the right-wing obstructionism that we have witnessed and observed in the past 2 years will be nothing compared to what will happen in the last 2 years of Obama’s first-term administration and he will effectively be a “lame-duck’ President. He will be ‘lame-ducked” by the conservative right-wingers, something they have tried by default to be in lieu of not being in charge, in power instead. You are seeing the results of this in “The Great Recession”, a recession like that of Japan from 1987 into the 21st century. This could happen here with the advent of the Baby Boomer generation retiring from now thru the next 20 years in the Social Security and state retirement rolls. This November is prophetic as to what America wants to do with its future–which direction to go and what transformation to take.
