Few would want Planned Parenthood defunded for any of those reasons. I’m sure there would have been no uproar if it weren’t for taxpayer funded late-term abortions, especially those whose procedures are illegally altered in order to maximize the profits from selling fetal organs.

@KenseidenXL – It’s more insidious then that . They would stuff women in a Burka if they thought they could get away with it.

Many of these Pro-Life people are really about forcing all of us to accept their beliefs and lifestyle.

Thank heaven, one the political parties is defending the re-constructionist Christians from the onslaught of militant Deist-Atheist-Agnostic terrorists who are trying to destroy their mission of spreading Calvinist values which are essential to a nation UNDER God.

they are pro-birth, not life. and, it is based on demographics. they couldn’t care less about poor women or minorities. and, are these the same people who want to cut the social safety net?

The Democrats I know have jobs or are married to people with jobs. In oklahoma, most of the people you describe are Republicans who want that money they are owed and nobody telling them how to live.

The “pro-lifers” (They aren’t hardly that!), and those “candidates” on the right they support and get much in return, need to read Article VI of the Constitution.

And for those “biblical folk”- it should be noted that the Bible espcially the Old Testament, Leviticus, is far older than Islam and Sharia law, and is the basis for the laws they want passed. I’ve got a “Thou shalt not…” for them: Thou shalt not shove your religion down my throat with the help of Congress.

If they can get Congress to ban health care not satisfactory to their RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, just imagine how many less controversial rights they’ll take from you, and tell you to genuflect.

Conservatives believe that donating is selling? Can a moderate or a person with sense tell me if I have this accurate. PP had a discussion about the cost of storing and transporting donated tissue. They may have given scenarios where different companies who provide the services of storing and transporting charge a monetary fee for providing those services and PP ends up paying the companies who store and transport based on whomever receives said tissues. So, basically the only seller in the process of the donation process is the company transporting and storing?

@ midaswelby You are either lying or passing along lies from others you gullibly suckered for. There is NO taxpayer funding for abortions and has not been since the Hyde Amendment was passed more than 40 years ago. Those who have to lie to make their point essentially concede that they could not make a point using accurate facts. Same for your much discredited LIE about Planned Parenthood selling anything for profit. Just lies. Planned Parenthood had costs reimbursed for assisting women who expressed a desire, and signed a medical directive, to have tissue donated rather than discarded.

DagNabbit, you are wrong. Abortion accounts for less than 3% of Planned Parenthood operations, which are mostly for the services shown in the cartoon, and which would be cut by a blanket elimination of funding that only goes to those services since it has been illegal to use those funds for abortions for more than 40 years since the Hyde Amendment was passed.Get your facts straight.

@louieglutzSorry, Louie, now you’re just guessing and pulling wrong answers out of your rear end. Aside from the fact that the vide is not a valid source because of its heavily dishonest editing, the woman in it apparently works in a role where her job is to perform abortions, obviously at a center where they do offer that service. In many centers, including some broad regions and even a few entire states, Planned Parenthood does not offer that service at all. Your nonsensical argument that because one abortion worker has that role, therefore it applies to everyone just demonstrates the illogic of simple CONservative minds. By your logic, a person who only does cancer screenings — who performs no abortions at all — proves that there are NO abortions at any Planned Parenthood, or because one persons provides birth control counseling that is the only thing anyone does. ::: rolling eyes :::

BTW: PP also provides services to men, including helping solve fertility problems.
