Well in New Hampshire, it may take a few days. So far story wise it’s just been one day.

I’m surprised she didn’t notice her breath fogging the air while she’s still in bed. Big clue it’s cold inside the house. Time to add more blankets and stay in bed.

We had a couple ice storms in the 60’s where we were without power for several days to a week (Upstate NY) . Retired now in very NW MI, we had a Generac whole house generator installed a few years ago – power goes out – within a minute it is back on, runs off propane, we have a huge sub tank as our HW and heat is propane, it’s loud at that end of house where it sits, but it is so nice when power goes out for it to come back on within a minute – no lost food, no freezing or roasting depending on the outdoor temp. We were without power for 13hrs a few weeks ago, was nice having generator kick on

I want one for hurricanes in Louisiana. At least we have a small generator.
