When I was a young single guy, I thought that taking care of a baby would be one of the worst things imaginable. Yet when I had my own to take care of, none of that supposedly unpleasant stuff mattered at all, and I genuinely enjoyed it (and therefore had no problem doing the same on occasion with the grandkids). Also, as I was advised before having kids, one’s gross out tolerance is dramatically increased!
