I was taking my yearbook around for signatures. One kid asked to sign it, but took it away from me. When I got it back, someone had written “RAT” on the inside cover. I’m pretty sure it was a reference to when I had gotten a bus driver fired for smoking pot on the bus (long story short, the smell makes me horribly ill, and the vice principal, who just happened to be related to my mother’s best friend, saw how ill I looked & asked.)
