Not being one to go to fast food drive throughs, I’m not sure I get it. Do they mess up orders all the time?

Whispering about a co-worker? Not good. He should have said something complimentary. Of course, she isn’t eligible to be dated for two reasons.

You are free to expect consistency, but that expectation will often be disappointed. The cartoonists are making it up as they go along, and are free to change anything they like at any time, for the sake of the strip.

“Do I contradict myself? Very well, then, I contradict myself. I am large; I contain multitudes.” – Walt Whitman

“The poet’s fruitful freedom knows no bounds, and takes no oath to tell it as it happened.” – Ovid

Actually, in a lot of auto parts stores, the cashier does get a lot of the items for you because they’re on shelves behind the counter or they’re helping you on the floor. I’ve seen this in Pep Boys and Advanced Auto Parts, for examples.

Joe - Nobody has to follow you around. You show up everywhere with your inanities. Don’t you realize nobody cares about the recollections of your life?
