I agree that Trump’s a chump. But he didn’t make the stupid comment. One of his lap dogs did. And since the original accusation is with out merit, I think the whole thing has just become a silly distraction. Let’s get on to some more meaty issues, shall we?
The fact that one of Trump’s lap dogs — a lawyer, even! — felt justified in letting loose that hysterical mob-style tirade of lies and vicious threats at a journalist says a LOT about Trump. Expect the same from his cabinet. It very much deserves to be news. Trump, Christie, and Sylvio Berlusconi have a lot in common as political bullies who hire political bullies to push people around and use their political power to exact revenge against anyone who opposes their will.
