Lost a close friend to a lightning strike four years ago, so I don’t find humor in this. I realize it’s just me. One thing now is whenever I hear thunder or see lightning I think of Steve.
The standard joke is, if you’re on a golf course and can’t find shelter when lightning strikes, hold a 1-iron over your head, because even God can’t hit a 1-iron. Lee Trevino would challenge you on that, however, as he was, according to legend, struck by lightning on a golf course while holding a 1-iron. So apparently, and unsurprisingly, God can hit a 1-iron.
