Ted Rall for July 16, 2015
Transcript:
Announcing the intellectual heir to Bush Scott Walker hated the gays before he didn't hate them. ("I support [the boy scouts] previous [ban on gays] because it protected children." 7-14-2015) Perhaps an aide told him gays are popular now. ("The protection was not physical protection [it was] protecting them from... the political and media discussion about [gays]" 7-15-2015) It takes a clearly confused mind to couch bigotry as schoolmarmy concern that kids might get upset by mere mention of his victims' existence. (I'm not against Jews) (But the discussion of Jews upsets kids. If only there were some way for there not to be any Jews to discuss...) Sorry. Had to.

Intellectual Heir to Bush.
That is a funny concept, Ted.

Walker is dangerous. Besides his narrow-minded view of the world, he is financed by the Koch Brothers. As much as we’d love to get him out of Wisconsin, putting him anywhere near D. C. is cruel to my fellow Americans.

At least Ted is apologizing for it. The first step in curing your addiction to comparing people to Hitler is admitting you have a problem. I’m afraid there’s not much that can be done about being an unfunny, hateful hack.

Zing! Love the last panel. But it’s not bigotry that most concerns me with Walker. It’s his aggressive warmongering talk. I heard a little of his announcement speech, and it was downright scary.

he and his state gov’t gave away $250 million of tax payer money to billionaires to build a stadium. but, he cut the same amount from U of Wisconsin.

John Locke’s right, guys. We should round up all the Mennonites, because they might make somebody uncomfortable.

I agree that Scott Walker is an ignorant, dangerous, pandering politico, but to equate him with Hitler does us no good, and him no harm. Remember the rule: NO ONE IS WORSE THAN HITLER. To equate any GOP candidate to Hitler simply legitimizes the right-wing drones who equate President Obama to Hitler.

@John Locke:You’re not living and let live, you’re denouncing a life-style that you don’t agree with. We’re just pointing out the part where you’re vilifying a life style.

Ted Rall, are you saying that Scott Walker is ready to round up gays and he’s going to start exterminating them like Hitler exterminated Jews? That’s quite a stretch of ignorance! Last time I knew, this is America and people are allowed to not like someone else as long as they don’t harm them. You are so ignorant!
