Right! We just need a couple more helpings of Trickle Down economics.

There are some parts of the middle class left. A little more Reaganomics will eliminate those pesky remnants once and for all.

Which is more conservative, the Democrat’s Tax & Spend policy, or the Republican’s Borrow Instead of Tax and Spend Just as Much as Democrats policy?

What a dumb cartoon. There is not a single Republican running whose policies would not increase the debt by trillions over what Hillary is proposing. Massive tax cuts for the rich. Massive layoffs at the government level, bringing the economy to its knees; except of course massive increases in military spending and border security, not to mention the $380 billion it would cost the US government to repeal the ACA. There may be reasons to vote Republican, but avoiding debt is not one.

Benson, there must have been a mistake when you transmitted today’s cartoon. Somehow the words “Republican Tax Cuts for the Wealthy” and “Costs of Fighting Wars of Choice” were left off those huge grey debt bags. I’m sure you’ll correct that as soon as possible.

You are living in the real world, which obviously makes you see things differently than Lisa. In the Faux bubble this cartoon is a valid depiction of reality. You have to stop believing your eyes and buy into the bubble. Lisa is trying to help you to do that.

Republicans are good at giving tax cuts even during the time of war and then they complain about the debt. They do not get that if you cut taxes you have to cut the budget doubly to reduce the debt. They just compound the problem. At least the Democrats know that fiscal responsibility is both taxes and spending in balance. Clinton handed Bush a balance budget. Bush handed Obama abudget defit, more debt, and a collapsed economy. If Republicans actually believed in reducing the debt for future generations they would not talk about tax cuts."In November of 2002, when O’Neill, a “deficit hawk”, tried to warn Vice President Dick Cheney that growing budget deficits… expected to top $500 billion that fiscal year alone… posed a threat to the economy. Cheney cut him off, saying, “You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don’t matter.”O’Neill was replaced with CSX (the freight train company) CEO John Snow, also a “deficit hawk”, yet appointed the unenviable task of convincing the public (ie: Wall Street) that “deficits don’t matter”."http://crooksandliars.com/mugsy/ten-years-ago-today-bush-fires-economic-teamWho Is The Smallest Government Spender Since Eisenhower? Go back to the old policies under the previous Clinton and it was a period of relative peace, prosperity, and stability. You have to go back to Republican policies to find failure.

Correction on my comment: It should have said: “Do away with FICA, (the worker taxation, not Social Security) change the tax code to a flat tax without loop holes, and do away with the IRS.”

The Clinton regime HUD created and expanded the sub prime mortgage market that led to the 2008 meltdown. Yeah, we need more of that.
