I have spent time in California, Texas and in the Gulf of Mexico, both on the beaches and scuba diving….. The beaches and the water were always clean!
Ten years ago, I spent the weekend in Corpus Christi Texas. I had heard there were oil spills there; however the water was clear with at least 4 or 5 feet of visibility. We spent a day, most of it in the water jet skiing and we had NO problems with oil or any other grim/dirt/filth.
However, there was no fish on the pier, we had to purchase shrimp from a truck……..scary! It had to be farmed fish, because the truck was filled with fish and there wasn’t a fish smell….
PETRO is the fuel of choice…. pre-1957; it is made in a laboratory. Today they call it petroleum, and they say it is called a fossil fuel because it was made from the remains of plants.
