There are a lot of folks in S.C., and even more around the country who fly the Confederate Battle Flag, who aren’t the least heart-broken by this event.
Our rural area has a more regional news coverage of severall cities, in the last week, there’ve been six shootings, white guys shooting white guys. It’s the personality and the availabitiy of guns. BTW: you’re much more likel whatever your color, to be shot in Miami than either Chicago or Detroit. (DOJ figures)

Yep, it’s a tragedy. An act of God. You know, like an earthquake. Or a river catching on fire.
And nothing can be done about it. Or should be.
You know, an act of God is not something you should try to prevent.

My wife is from Columbia, SC, and I’ve spent way too much time there to believe that SC even has a heart. Or a soul, for that matter.
