Actually, you are too charitable to them as well! The current GOP is wholly against science. They are against the research into global warming, they were against stem cell research (even when Nancy Reagan pushed back!), they are against anything that has the option of contradicting their firmly-held views, and science takes nothing as sacred. Why do you think so many GOP politicians are defunding universities?
The wonderful thing, i guess, is how these toons show just how ignorant on science, sociology, and well, anything, so many of the “pro life”, except for wars, folks are.
The Birth Control option is Not Acceptable to the Evangelical Right Wing because they have decided that Birth Control is Just Another Form of Abortion. .They don’t Care how it Works.They’re “Just Agin’ it”..
