All women who vote republican vote against their own best interests. If they don’t know it, they have been brainwashed with a stong input of extreme radical fundamental “christianity” form misguided radical patriarchal autharitorisn preachers who only follow old testement laws and don’t follow Jesus’ word or actions about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, or giving succor to the widows and orphans. Well over 50% of the poor are women and children.

The only way the GOP will ever win another election is to bribe enough poor people with enough wealth to make them have an opinion on capital gains taxes. And Voila’!You have a fresh batch of new conservatives, who will do anything to hang onto all that new found wealth!

There are plenty of Democrats who do the same thing. The GOP has gone so far to the right on social issues that many wealthy and upper middle class folks will vote for a Democrat who threatens to tax everything they own out of existence.

Well, I would say just give her time to figure it out but she is rich, white and a celebrity and doesn’t have a clue what is going on out there. She is not really a transgender….just a rich guy with a new toy.

Buffet speaks the truth about the tax system we’ve got right now. When you’re talking about wealthy folks, you’re talking about people who are doing extremely well under the current tax system, enough that the tax disparities actually account for a third to a half of the rise in wealth inequality in this country.

Regarding Democrats, when these folks have proposed tax reforms, they have indeed specified particular income brackets. They’ve also proposed actually properly taxing certain types of income. Why should hedge fund managers’ personal investment income be taxed at such a lower rate than regular work-based income, for instance? Sanders and others have proposed to correct that. But here’s a question: how do you define “upper middle class”? If you’d like others to operate in specifics, I suggest you offer some of your own. And once that’s defined, we can begin to discuss whether Democrats are out to raise their taxes. Also, how do you define atheistic capitalism? Complete laissez-faire, Randian Objectivism? Because that’s the closest thing I can think of. Are you one of those who ask What Would Galt Do?
