It just occurred to me that, with modern special effects, this strip could be made into a wonderful children’s movie. It would be refreshing after so much rehashing of the same old themes and the endless parade of superheroes.
It must have been mushrooms—this is long before LSD.
There was a 1989 “Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland”. It’s available on DVD from Amazon.
There was also a recent 4-issue comics miniseries, “Little Nemo: Return to Slumberland” by Eric Shanower & Gabriel Rodriguez.
