To have a slump? You mean you’ve won games in the past? You’ll win two or so in the future, but that’s twenty some odd years away (this is ‘69, right, and their victories that I’m aware of are something like mid ‘90s). But at this point I doubt you’ve even won a single game in all the years you’ve been manager and pitcher.

You know it’s bad when your slump is in a slump.

After 3 weeks of 1969 strips replacing the wait until next year 1968 strips with an election year theme, we return to 1968 strips.

Winning games would constitute a streak.

Good ol’ Charlie Brown will still be out there on the mound for the next game.

Time to pick a new sport, one you can be good at.

What would that be? Any ideas?

    Get Snoopy on your team!

You still might lose of course but you will lose with dignity.

OK. That didn’t make sense, I know.

@Snoopy_FanHello. I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I was able to donate blood today which I did. But the bad news is that they had to stop my donation after a couple of minutes because my blood was flowing too slowly and I guess they didn’t want to hurt me by inserting the needle here and there. So unfortunately, I couldn’t donate a full pint. I still dedicated it to you even though it would have been more special if it was a full pint. I have never had any problems with donating before. I have always managed to donate full pints with no trouble but I guess there’s a first time for everything. I hope you’re not too disappointed.-In the “Spot the Hazard” pic, I also noticed that the computer screen is positioned all the way back and so is the chair. That could cause injury so I think that too is a hazard. Another one I can spot is the mat which the water cooler is standing on. It looks like somebody could trip over that. -Don’t worry about it, I loved your joke! Remember my joke about the hangover? This was somewhere near New Year’s Eve because you said you had a very bad headache and I asked if you had too much to drink.-I am pleased you like my Smartphone. I changed the wallpaper on it today. It’s a lovely blue flower. This one:

Isn’t it beautiful?-Yes, I have a new SIM card now. Yesterday, I went almost 3 days without charging the battery which is amazing. It lasts longer if you leave it on standby but I like to listen to music. Even then it doesn’t take up too much power.-Don’t worry about the late reply. Don’t they always say “Better late than never”? -I hope your week has got off to a wonderful start and I hope I still made your day by donating blood even though it wasn’t a full pint.

    xxx
