I assume that’s Blackbeard The Pirate…wasn’t he hanged in Charleston SC and just thrown into the swamp for the crabs to eat? Sounds like a plan for the 21st century also.

Nixon ought to have been shot by a firing squad for his attack on Democracy. Reagan ought to have been lynched for smashing Labor. Working people need protection from fat cat executives. Bush 1 invented Islamic Terrorists by Gulf War 1, the war to defend Islamic Dictators. Clinton and Obama were disappointments to be sure, but the worst of a bad lot of Presidents was by far Bush 2, invading Iraq for it’s oil all the while helping the Terrorists in Afghanistan, who wanted Saddam overthrown.

Yes, thank God (Take your choice as to which one) we got all that oil out of Iraq. However, I think the Chinese are getting most of it.

It’s a huge disappointment to realize that Obama is nothing more than another Democrat In Name Only (or Stealth Republican, or Corplicrat ), but at least he’s ruined the use of “Hope” and “Yes We Can” for future candidates. From here on out the questions have to be “hope for what exactly ?” and “yes we can do what precisely ?”, and “who owns your soul, anyway?”

Socialism is a political philosophy that encompasses various theories of economic organization based on either public or direct worker ownership and administration of the means of production and allocation of resources.

A more comprehensive definition of socialism is an economic system that directly maximizes use-values as opposed to exchange-values and has transcended commodity production and wage labor, along with a corresponding set of social and economic relations, including the organization of economic institutions, the method of resource allocation and post-monetary calculation based on some physical magnitude;…. often implying a method of compensation based on individual merit, the amount of labor expended or individual contribution………

Socialists generally share the view that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital and derives its wealth through a system of exploitation. This in turn creates an unequal society, that fails to provide equal opportunities for everyone to maximise their potential,……and does not utilise technology and resources to their maximum potential nor in the interests of the public.
