That 9.6 billion gallons of water the state wasted on spawning exactly 29 steelhead trout would come in handy about now.

We’ve got plenty of water where I live, too. Don’t worry, I won’t be setting foot in the People’s Democratic Republic anytime soon. P.S. If the state capital ever gets another sports team, how bout calling the the Sacramento Steelheads, you know, after the government?

Last griz in California was killed in 1923, and by that time they already KNEW California, and especially the south half of the state had a serious water problem. Look up the fight over Hetch Hetchy in Yosemite N.P. and the city of San Francisco, not just the Owens River fraud for L.A..

The problem in California on water and climate change is the same, a refusal to plan for anything in the future to CONTROL indescriminant growth and destruction of the lands, and actually viable ecosystems, in desert.

The population does need to be thinned out. The state’s resources can handle about 1/2 of the residents. Southern California cannot survive without water from Colorado.

Yes, the California condor is a massive vulture. Might be a good reminder to put it on the flag.

Actually consider there are no grizs in CA the CA condor would be better.
