This reminds me of the old days of Shoe, when as a running joke, the Professer would send Skyler off to camp every summer. Of course it was the fact that these where Marine Camps (Camp Lejeune, Camp Pendleton, Camp Geiger, etc), so Skyler kept on getting in the Marines. ;)
Mrs.Luke - concur. Cassatt & Brookings now appear to have enlisted a MacNelly (who started the comic 30+ years ago) but it didn’t help. The Pre-Punchline punchline was better.
But, pizza IS my favorite fish! I saw a T-shirt a couple days ago that said, “Bacon is a vegetable.”. Why let reality wreck your day?
hossblacksilver - I loved those, too. The drill sargeant always addressed them as “Yew Maggots”. I had a friend stationed at camp LeJeune for a time, so it was extra funny.
