Charlene: It's almost swimwear season again?? How will we ever be ready for that?! Andrea: We just have to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and go on! Charlene: Boots are ridiculous in May. Andrea: There are some cute pastel ankle boots, but they don't really have straps. Charlene: We could pull ourselves up by our gladiator stiletto straps. Andrea: Too tippy. How about our platform-soled slingback straps? Charlene: Too chunky. Our flip-flop ankle straps? Andrea: Nah. Peep-toe pump straps? Charlene: Nah. Cathy: Fitness setback, 2010: Footwear is wrong.

Oh, ellisaaana, I was only referring to Cathy and her friends who ate too much cheese yesterday, even though it’s bathing suit time. Now they are being picky about summer footwear that won’t fit them now anyway. I wasn’t saying anything about real people, just Cathy. This reminds me, It’s time to get all my flip flops out and do my toes red. YAAAAY!

Mrs L…thought you were joking and I was just following your lead….sometimes dry humor doesn’t come across too well in writing.
but.. with the shoes Cathy and her friends like to wear, and the way they eat, they will be shopping for orthopedic shoes soon.

Thank goodness guys don’t have to do this sort of contortion. With no bras to pull ourselves up by, the only underwear left would leave us all in permanent self-wedgie mode.
That would get old pretty fast. Or extinct, even.
