^ or even an insider saboteur? Nuttin’ like a loss of 5K barrels per day or so to make a speculator get a lil’ chubby.

(notice a bit of a resultant spike on the filling station placards?)

In 1923 Mobil signed a deal with Saudi Arabia for their oil. Saudi Arabia later “Nationalized” the oil industry, and chose, ta da! MOBIL to run everything! What a deal.

You must mean the Coast Guard on scene shortly after the fire started and rescuing crewmembers? Maybe them monitoring the spill at depth, and telling the company to bring in equipment (which is THE COMPANY’s responsibility under the lease) within a couple hours?

A hurricane isn’t caused by corporate interests, and is thus “government” responsibility to take action. An oil spill from a rig is a COMMERCIAL blunder and the company’s job.

Yup, Rush has it, PETA or NOW folks must be behind it.

The trouble is, we are going to need oil for quite some time yet. We are also going to need coal for some time. We can’t let this disaster by B.P. stop are energy needs. We are still years away from alternatives, and unfortunately it’s drill baby drill.

do not fear gulf coast you no longer have an oil slick the size of rhode island floating towards you. You only have a wall of fire the size of rhode island floating towards you
