One of my kitties loved mint. She would try to smell my breath when I chewed gum, my toothpaste tube, and I have a tin of breathmints on my coffee table and she would knock it off and hold it between her paws and sniff it. None of my other cats have been affected by it. Catnip also is called Catmint. Maybe somehow releated?

If I’m chewing mint gum or have just brushed my teeth, my cat will attempt to insert her head into my mouth while she completes her inspection.
