Which, if YOU do something that results in the police being called, especially if you already have a conviction for armed robbery (as with the most recent case getting attention), you MIGHT want to be more cooperative with them?
Which, how many ARMED criminals were arrested on any given day, and yet still not killed? The vast majority of officers retire having never fired their weapons except on a range, so why isn’t THAT news?
What IS the role of “the media” in promoting violence? and “outrage”? Maybe complete stories, including all the facts, and making the front page only after those facts are actually known? Nah, that doesn’t sell ads or commercial time.

The role of the media is simple, sell papers and ad spots. That is why there is no real news any more. Everything the put on is entertainment and drama.
Pea: take in context: ALL lives matter. Most police never fire their weapons except on the range. Don’t be stupid when confronted by police when you have a record of violent behavior they know about (the latest case of the guy killed in a house, after police had a report of him beating someone up, and he had a conviction on armed offense). When the Media blow individual cases out of proportion, the public will react.
