Why does Ramirez hate America so much he’d rather see a nuclear war than a deal with Iran.

No, my rationale is to deny them the assets they need to become a nuclear power. Being buddy buddy with them is not the correct approach. You guys seem to be so focused on “Obama can do no wrong,” that you are missing the plain obvious fact that some people or groups do not care or want diplomacy. They only accept and understand violence. You can talk and talk and talk, and what will it accomplish? Absolutely nothing. They will continue to string you along, and tell you they are considering your proposals, milking us for all we’re worth. And at the end of the day, they are still going to do whatever they want. Words have no value to them. Do you honestly think we could establish a diplomatic channel with ISIS? How about N Korea? There are a host of countries who do not care about what we have to say. They only want us to die.You can blame whomever you want for the past, but this is the reality in which we live now. I’m all for avoiding conflict, but I’m also a realist that there are a lot of people who aren’t. And most of those people live in the middle east.

Dont be silly, folks, step back and look at the politics on the ground. Israel is one of several regional powers we have to deal with. They are part of a much larger picture. The iranians are not fools, they have been a major force in the region for centuries and will undoubtedly once again take their place as a more powerful nation in the future. They have built their nuclear infrastructure in a way that it cannot be attacked from the air. The Israelis would have done that already the way they destroyed iraq’s reactor years ago. The US has proven it cannot afford to take and hold land as an occupying power. So, absent destroying iran’s nuclear program, which is not possible, what do you do? Well, you try the only option you have—diplomacy. Israel knows this. The US needs to pull Turkey, KSA, Jordan,, the GCC AND Iran into an uneasy balance where they are all rivals and there’s a standoff. That’s how the big boys who are smart play this game. Remember when everyone was criticizing Obama for dealing rationally with Ukraine—guess who was playing chess and who was playing checkers. Same thing here. Try to step outside your petty views, people, and realize that all of these nations are actors in the region. That’s why I have to constantly remind folks that the only solution to the IS is by the regional powers and other Muslims.

Well, first there is no “nuclear Iran” to be worn, unlike the heavily body armored and nuclear armed Israel. The black and blue is the body of world peace Netanyahu and his allies in the U.S. have created.

Getting more rational people running Israel would be a nice present Israelis can give us this month.

Yup, I knew about the 12th imam. But the Shi’a are not now presently the ones who strap bombs on. The Sunnis are. The Persians are having a political issue with a dysfunctional government WE brought to power by overthrowing their government and installing the Shah. You think 9/11 is a long lasting motivator for us, imagine the motivation we supplied to the Iranians by installing a king of our choice after deposing their government. In fact, the Iranians have joined their Shi’a brethren from Iraq to fight the IS. I have said before that Islam is a problem religion going through a rough patch. In that context, all Muslims have to deal with the apocalyptic messages in their revelatory texts. But between the Shi’a and the Sunni, broadly speaking, the Shi’a are not currently going through the same throes of violence as the Sunni. Of course, we don’t have clean hands, either when it comes to violence, we’re the tops!
