Joe moment: the little bird dressed as Groucho came down during Groucho’s game show, “You Bet Your Life.” Radish referenced it with the secret word quip that was said during every show. Bill Cosby tried to return the show to TV a few years back, but it only lasted one season in syndication. Also referencing Johnny Carson’s “may the bluebird of happiness fly up your nose” quip.
We now return you to your regular pun infested programing.
The ‘bird’ that made its appearance when the secret word was uttered on Groucho Marx’s “You Bet Your Life” was, in fact, a cigar-smoking duck that resembled Groucho. To me it’s like the ‘Bluebird of Happiness’ is disguised with sarcasm. Situation we’re in isn’t funny, but the comic is.

-though a fun image, this political cynicism is rather unbecoming of a Ziggy cartoon.

That’s “may the bird of paradise fly up your nose”, from the song of the same name.

Which brand of cynicism would you prefer?
