The killing of the Japanese hostages meant to rile Japan & others into the war, too. I guess they got what they wanted with the Jordanian.
I’ve learnt that it is suspected a few disaffected Portuguese, radicalised in Britain after migrating there, may be part of the production crew who do the videos of Jihadi John’. Although I say I’m not a nationalist, I must admit it’s sad & disappointing to hear of fellow compatriots falling for the hate.
Some of the few Portuguese Islamists (not named) might want to return.
