Speaking of trickle down; did a quick search on Obama vs Reagan. There were a few articles explaining how Obama economic recovery was better than ‘ol Ronnie’s (one even tried to account for the discrepancy in the Workforce Participation Rate), but all of them ignored stagnant wages….This chart though shows it “by the numbers”.
Simply put: the whole theory of “Reaganomics” that has proved out now is that wages will stagnate, unions will be busted to accommodat that, and the top 1% will increase their percentage ownership of national wealth, AND they will ship jobs, AND PROFITS OVERSEAS to reduce or elliminate taxes on those profits, further increasing personal wealth in that 1%.
