Hi davidf42,
If the art is good, I do prefer b&w. There’s enough color in the media, I enjoy the subtle beauty of ink art. Plus, I like the tradition of color comics on Sundays only. Lastly, I think JIm must be drawing for b&w publication of his dailies.

The sclera on Gertie’s eyes matches her skin - maybe SHE is the one who needs some meds.

*Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty said, Blame the odd look of Gertie’s eyes on the person who colored the comic strip.
I say blame the person who decided to have the strip colorized.

Axe-Grinder - That’s an interesting thought. Do you mean that you prefer the comics to be left uncolorized?

B & W rules! Colorizing washes out all of the detail of the artwork. Hey, maybe they should start colorizing Dick Tracy.

Maybe they should bleach Dick Tracy. Oh, Mr Blank.
