2003, a thousand Nigerians slaughtered by “Christian militias”, but that isn’t newsworthy in the U.S., even though such is still happening. Attention is difficult to maintain in our “short attention span theater” of society, and “media”.

The media always plays up what THEY THINK will sell; not NECESSARILY that the general public is not interested. Most often we will be told about horrific crimes when they occur, but hardly anything on the ultimate resolution. They simply go on to the next one.
