    Wait a minute…..who’s on the inside? Eno’s door opens the wrong way. It should open inwards not outwards.

    Eno is such a cheapskate.

    It seems to me that painting the brown spots would take far more labor than fertilizing the lawn.

    Bdaysuit - I would agree with you, but we actually visited some friends in FL, whose front door opened that way. I don’t know if it was a hurricane building requirement, but our motel room didn’t open that way. My hubby suspected the builders made it that way, so the workers could come back later to take the door off the hinges to rob them.

    In some cases wind resistance is a concern, but you need special security hinges if you get an outswinging door. Fire safety is also a concern. If you have a narrow hallway, you want an outswinging door to escape quickly. In urban areas, an inswinging door is preferred by emergency responders so they can get in quickly.
