   Yeah, it’s dark. TV-MA + extreme violence + nudity = first part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that I’ve skipped.

   They have something like that in Stephens City, VA already. When I lived there at 16, I was home alone one weekend and let the dog bark for two hours in the afternoon. Figured it wouldn’t hurt anything. Got a policeman at my door writing a warning.

   I used to have a basset hound who would go up and down stairs by hopping all four legs at once. Every once in a while he would accidentally start to pick up speed and start flailing by the end. When someone came in the door, he forgot all that, ran down the stairs, slid on the door mat, bounced hard off the door, sometimes rolling over in the process, and ran off like it was nothing.

   I used to have a basset hound that slept on the back of the couch like that all the time. My mom liked to joke that she thought the dog was part cat.
