Umm. That’s one story. Check the other Gospels for different stories. Who found the tomb? Was it open? Who, if anyone, was there? What did the person or people who discovered the empty tomb do? Did anyone enter the tomb? One cannot make a consistent story out of the accounts in the Gospels, as they contradict each other.
Honestly, I don’t care if he has risen or not. Jesus of Nazareth is one of the few guys who stood for the little guy through non violence. He’s a major improvement in monotheism.
Camels can NOT pass through the eye of a needle, so there are no circumstances where a rich man can enter into heaven. Unless you have an enormous needle. Many of the Christian faith are wealthy by Jesus’ standards. How many would be willing to sell alll that they have & give the money to the poor? I would bet that would be a very low percentage, indeed. There is hypocracy in all religions. It is non-denominational.
Has anyone ever been to a fire or nearby disaster? People come, people go and sometimes people come back to the scene again.
When police take notes from witnesses, no two stories are identical. And yet they were all there.
Some people say religions are all the same. However, Christianity is the only faith where people can’t earn their way to heaven. It states that nothing a person does brings them any closer to that place (Ephesians 2:9). Instead the Bible states that people are saved by God’s grace through faith (reliance, trust) in Jesus. (Not just knowledge of him) According to Christianity, Jesus accomplished everything for people to get them into heaven.
No other religion has claimed that.
As for Jesus’ statement about riches and getting into heaven, he ends that comment by adding “With men this [getting into heaven] is impossible, but all things are possible with God.”
I’m sorry gslusher have you actually read the bible? It all says the same thing about the tomb. You can say what you want but if we’re right what’s going to happen to you and your self righteous behind! Burn baby Burn !!!!! Yeehaw

Indeed!
Though just to be a stickler, I’m not celebrating the resurrection till tomorrow. In our church, we’re still waiting and watching with the disciples.

Just unleavened mythology? When they stop attacking those who don’t buy their version, I may believe THEY believe what he said.
