My dad brought his 2 yr old rescue Great Dane over yesterday for the first time. We were told HE HATES CATS. I have 5. I put my most laid back cat in a carrier and took it outside to see how he would react.. The cat meowed, the do sniffed and didn’t care. I took the cat back in and then the dog on his lease with his harness. He walked up to 3 of the 5 and sniffed after they meowed and just continued sniffing the floor and the house. He paid no heed to the cats. I think if they had run he would have just chased. He is still a pup as far as Danes go. It runs he chases.
