(Our cats are indoor-only, so trimming doesn’t cause problems.).On the other other hand, playing outdoors on a regular basis usually wears claws down enough so trimming shouldn’t be necessary..Peekaboo is a very strange kitten to play outdoors a lot and also have claws long enough to snag on everything.

My (indoor) cat grows shivs, too long to be just claws, in only a few weeks of time yet he has yet to ever get hung up in a claw snag.
