Yep all the attacks on “small” business, like Lockheed, Burger King (oh, right, just franchises), or Koch’s subsidiaries.
Costs DO greatly affect small business in remote or rural areas with low COL, but that’s why regional dynamics should be written into laws, like minimum wage, not just size of the “company”.
“Now that President Obama has righted the ship,…”.EXACTLY how did he do that? Economic number while BETTER are still not good. The only thing that has helped the economy is lower fuel prices that Obama (or the Republicans for that matter) had NOTHING TO DO WITH..The only things the Republicans can claim credit for (in this perking of the economy) is giving the stock market something to be optimistic about since they were ALL elected on the platform of stopping Obama.
Just a note; NOTHING on the internet should be regarded as “private” or assured of privacy any longer- I’m reminded of that regularly by some of my other “specialty” groups for people with specific interests.
Which I’ve pretty much always figured that folks can figure out who I am, don’t really care, unless they try to mess with my password protected stuff that isn’t just “conversational”.
The double entendre, or a somewhat sarcastic response to some of the horrible things some folks repeatedly go into, in attacking other posters, personally and specifically, not at all relative to the content of the ’toons or conversations, are more credible responses than the attacks.
There are people here whom I like, even some of those with “politically opposite” views, we enjoy conversation! Those who come merely to post attacks? No, I don’t like them. I was bullied as a kid, by my brother. After ’Nam when he got “cute” with paper bag while I was asleep upon my return, I woke to find him somewhat “incapacitated” (broken ribs, jaw, and a concussion) and had to further wake to take him to the hospital. End of his bullying, of me anyway, though he continued oh with his own kids. But that is kinda the definition of how cowardice works. Anonymity sadly just ads more hot air to “lift their spirits”.
