So the voters are, would you say Matt…Low Information? Karma is a bitch and Hubris is her pimp! And this is from the cartoonist who compared the GOP to the Nazi Party just before the 2014 elections! And additionally, whatever happened to that ‘voter suppression’ stuff the liberals were touting a few short weeks ago, just before Democratic voters stayed home in droves? Don’ t hear much about that lately! Weak, outdated cartoon.

With congressional approval rating of under 10 percent, the extra money will be used to attract more ethical people to run for office?

There should be two changes. Any donations of more than a 1000 dollars should come with the name of the donor. If it is a non-profit they must make there donor or membership public. The second change would be to limit the campaigns to no more than four months in length. I am really, really tired of being bombarded for more than a year by the repetitious, stupid, and grossly misleading political ads.

Tax political contributions over $1000 at 75%. The most significant advantage, other than being able to wipe out the national debt by the time presidential elections are over in 2016 (I know I exaggerate, but not much…) is that no one would have to pay the tax unless they chose to donate. The only people “hurt” by paying taxes would be the candidates themselves, and I’m sorry that I don’t have more sympathy.
And I’d be happy to personally thank Mr. Adelman, Mr. Soros, Mr. Koch and Mr. Koch, and anyone else who wants to help pull our economy out of the doldrums if we could pull off this coup. I’ll hold my breath.
