Reminds me of a version we used to play: triples, 2 bounce. 3 of us on each side and the ball could bounce twice. We’d just lob it back and forth and try to keep the ball in play…..pretty laid back.
One of my favorite “Tumbleweeds” had Lotsa Luck asking (in writing, natch!), “Tennis, anyone?”“You’re awfully small for tennis, Lotsa Luck, maybe you should try ping pong.” “I have, but dash it all, I keep falling off the table!”
