The people in Aurora were watching a non-confrontational film. The guy with popcorn in Tampa was only waiting for the move to start.
The stage was set for another round of terrorist success in terrifying the chickenhawk brigade. (Some idiot likely hacking from here in the States.)
Sony Entertainment is a subsidiary of one of the largest and most successful electronics companies in the world, and they got hacked???? Is that clever hackers, or a corporation so enthralled with the bottom line, they didn’t even hire and pay folks enough who work for them, to get qualifed people?
the U.S. would finally have an excuse for doing the world a favor and turn that country into an nice, flat mirror of molten glass.-Obama wants to get rid of the nukes anyway, right? :-)
While I’m pretty sure you’re joking, I personally don’t fancy radioactive clouds, nuclear winter, the instantaneous death of millions and the drawn-out deaths of millions more. I’m pretty sure neither South Korea, China, Russia, Mongolia, nor Japan would be terribly happy with the outcome either.
The theaters are the ones that panicked, afraid of tort if anyone stubbed a toe in one of their theaters during a screening. MCA, Music Corporation of America was also a Japanese company owning Universal Studios.
A Seth Rogan movie is like a live action “South Park”, not intended to be an intellectual challenge in the first place.
Let’s not get into cereal wars, or Cap’n Crunch will lead an attack on Iowa!
