World’s most popular beagle. With good reason.

Sometimes Schultz would beat up on CB way too much.

@hyenajester: Not the Snoopster, too classy.

I hope Peggy Fleming remembered him that year.

Good heavens! He’s still at it! Read my name! ….It’s just like the Romper Room show! (and if you remember THAT bit, you’re as old as I am.)

This strip appeared on February 16, 1968. Isn’t it likely Schultz was just listing popular female names from his childhood?

Maggie may not talk, but she’s smart…and she’s an attempted killer! Marge may have been alive at this point, and she’s said Snoopy is her favorite Peanut.

@Snoopy_FanThanks, Snoopy_Fan. I keep forgetting that you sometimes don’t get in until late. That must be terrible, especially on a Friday when you just want to get home and start planning the weekend!-Even though I’m happy you were told that you are able to donate blood again after all…You can’t really blame them for being cautious. They are always thinking about the safety of the receiver as that person is already in a pretty bad way to need a blood transfusion. On my first donation, I almost chickened out and started to have second thoughts about donating blood but I told myself not to be stupid and just do it. I’ve been donating ever since 2012 and I’ve made many people proud. I really hope you will donate again very soon and that no more health problems come up which will refrain you from doing that. -I also spend a lot of time in front of the computer but I take breaks in-between. My computer is not in my bedroom which is a good thing because I would most likely be on it for most of the night and miss out on rest. I was told I need to exercise more because I’m a little overweight for my height (5’2) How depressing is that? I didn’t even notice until I got weighed and practically broke the scales. LOL! Just kidding. I hope you get into a exercise routine which you enjoy and makes you feel better. Some people should take a leaf out of your book.-My cousin, his (ex) partner and the boys all had a day out together. I don’t know where they actually went for the day but I hope it done them all good. The other boy is called Jamie by the way. I haven’t met him yet but he is on my desktop background. -Yes, I absolutely loved your story about Steve’s horse. I went to see the horses on Wednesday and also today. It was a delight to see them. Sebastian was nibbling at my sleeve again! My Mum thinks that’s a sign of friendship. I hope so!-I have a new Recent Favourite now, I like it but it’s not as hilarious as the Garfield strip. I also love toast. A day hasn’t yet gone by where I haven’t had it. I just enjoy it so much. A heated mattress pad? You lucky thing! Someone likes their luxuries! Hope your nights are cosy and warm.-Some people think that Paul McCartney has lost his talent but I disagree. That song just blew me away. I have no Beatles albums but that’s OK as I can access Youtube because there are sometimes full albums on there.-I hope very much that you have a better weekend. No doubt I’ll be thinking about you. Especially as tomorrow is Valentine’s Day.-P.S. I thought your note to the other readers was very well said. All they have to do is scroll past the comments they don’t want to read. I do that often too. Us Cappers used to get scolded for using the comment section as a personal message board and that we should take our ‘selfish ramblings’ elsewhere. I never responded to the troll but a lot of Cappers did which caused friction in the comments.-You take care and I wish you a very Happy Valentine’s Day for tomorrow!

    xxx
