Seriously, they really do go faster each year…..

Clever, tying yearly relativity to her age. She won’t want to admit how short the years are getting now.

So, how long was YOUR year?

But the good news is that proportionate to your age, you get older by a smaller amount each year. Going from four to five, you age by 25%, but when you turn 41 you’ve only aged 2.5% in the last year.

So the older one gets the shorter a year appears to be; how old does that make Pam?

It’s also a case of “Been There – Done That” for most of us old fogies.

I actually agree 100% with Pam. Where in heck did this year go already??…Not that I am reminiscing or anything… I welcome the new year! =D

The year is not getting faster, we are just getting slower as we get older. When we was young, we had no concept of time as we do as an adult, so that is why time is passing us by each and every year. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2125!

puddleglum, thanks for the perspective…I knew math had to be good for something..Aging less, faster, eh? I’ll take it…..

One theory is that as we age our internal clocks slow down. Time appears to go faster. The first 20 years of our life will be perceived to be the half way point when we reach over 70 years.

The older I get the faster the years ago. And I like fruitcake.
