Although that is certainly Fred’s ‘back garden’, not ‘back yard’ (a yard is a functional paved area eg farmyard etc, not a garden), we do use the term NIMBY
Our watchBC has a much wider perimeter: Anything within his eyesight gets warned off, even if they’re on the other side of the street. Some dogs he gives a pass to; I assume they’re on his “approved” list — whatever that may be!
