Obviously I’m happy that Republican candidates won several governorships for partisan reasons, but I think it will also be good for our country. I have noticed that some people on the left seem to be ignorant of Republican positions and assume that they are strawman monsters, ascribing to Republicans the worst goals and motivations that their fears can supply. The more people encounter actual Republicans in power, the more they will understand them as the same flawed but well-meaning human beings that Democrats are made of, and address Republican policies on their merits.-Of course, if the Republican arguments are bad the Democratic gubernatorial candidates can always come back out of the wilderness….
On the milk cartons along with missing Ebola tsar Ron Klain. Don’t worry, they’ll resurface when it is time to hand out ambassadorships, college presidencies, CEO positions that don’t require hands-on stuff, etc.
We just re-elected our Democratic governor, and overall the elections really depict the missing element is sanity and intelligence on the right (that at least used to be locatable on occasion!). Which, it’s going to be interesting in the “new” Senate as their ARE a few intelligent and effective Republicans still their, but will they overrule the “new right radicals”?? Doesn’t look like it.

There’s another endangered species: the intelligent voter. Haven’t seen too many of those around
